Hey there, beautiful Queens! From the moment this Queen walked into the studio, I could feel her openness and honesty; it’s part of what made her session so special! She’s been on such a powerful journey of self-acceptance and growth, doing the kind of deep inner work that so many of us shy away from. What struck me most was how she showed up for herself with such authenticity, ready to honour the body she’s in right now and all the strength it carries! Hey photos turned out so stunning, I'm so glad to have gotten the opportunity to work with her!

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?
I’ve put in a lot of work with myself these past 2 years - and I don’t mean physically. Graduating from school, getting used to shift work and the stress that comes with being a nurse, PLUS some new medications I had to start taking, led to a lot of weight gain…nearly 65 lbs. I have been working on doing a lot of mental and emotional work to love myself and meet myself where I’m at! Being grateful for the body I’m in. This shoot definitely helped with my self-love!!
What was your favourite part of the session?
The whole thing!!!! Beginning to end!
Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?
I really had no clue what to expect. I am an open book, and I am who I am, so I wouldn’t say I was shy about showing my body or being photographed, but I will say I was nervous about posing and if I would like how the pictures would turn out…(of course, I am in LOVE with them). I was also nervous about having my makeup done, especially because I am self-conscious of my acne, but my makeup was the best it’s ever looked! All worries were put to bed.
What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?
I wouldn’t change a thing :)
Is there anything extra you would like to tell us?
Thank you for everything you do 💓 empowering women is an incredible thing to do!
