Queen Crystal-"Strong, Independent, and Gorgeous!"

Hey there gorgeous Queens!

There are some sessions that feel like a celebration, not because everything in life has been easy, but because someone has finally reached a place where they can look back and recognize just how far they've come! The beautiful Queen C's session was exactly that! I meet so many women who tell me they've spent years believing they had to look a certain way before they were "ready" for boudoir. Then they step in front of the camera and realize the version of themselves they've been waiting for has been there all along. Sometimes all it takes is seeing yourself from a different perspective!

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Quinn compare to your prior experience?

I have never done one before, but I have always wanted to. I was always very self-conscious about my body and never felt I measured up to what the world wanted to see in a woman. I now see how gorgeous I always was- I just needed to see it from another angle!

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

I turn 50 this year, and I wanted to gift this to myself. It is also the 5-year anniversary of me kicking out my abusive ex and becoming a strong, independent mom of 4 who strives to be the best role model to them.

What was your favourite part of the session?

Letting go of my worries and being comfortable in my own skin. I felt so sexy in all my outfits, and I can't wait to share with a potential partner in the future!

What did doing this shoot do for your self-confidence, self-worth, and self-image? Tell me your story.

I struggled with low self-esteem due to being with a mentally, financially and psychologically abusive ex-spouse. We were married for 20 years before getting divorced in 2024. I have built up a life with our 4 kids and have never felt better about myself. Now I can look back on these amazing photos and know I was always this beautiful; I just needed to learn to love myself first!

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

It was amazing!! Quinn did an amazing job of capturing my best assets and keeping me comfortable ...mostly (except those shoes though :) ) I wish I could do this every year!!!!

What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?

Quinn and her team had everything ready for me. Nikole did my hair and makeup and was so wonderful to chat with while she brought out my natural beauty! They had all my outfits set out while I was getting done up, so it was easy to change between sets and know which props went with each outfit. I also loved shopping for the lingerie...I never wear it, so it was fun trying on and buying the items I chose!
