Queen Kim-"As Beautiful As I've Always Dreamed Of!"

Hey there Beauty Queens!

I never assume someone walks into a boudoir shoot already feeling confident, because the reality is that most of the women I work with don't —and that's perfectly normal! It's so common that first-time sessions start with, “I’ve wanted to do this forever, but…” — and I fully understand that, oftentimes, we don't take the steps to treat ourselves, as we're usually taking care of others.

The stunning Queen K's session started with those similar feelings: a few nerves and a little uncertainty, but once we started, it was so wonderful to see that shift in her demeanour. After just a few photos, she was a natural at posing. I could really see that “Oh… I can actually do this,” moment!

Not to mention, my favourite part of working with this lovely lady came later, when we looked through her images together; her reaction was so genuine and showcased her newfound confidence in such a pure way! It's moments like these that stay with me. There's truly nothing more special than witnessing a Queen finally see themselves the way others have seen them all along!

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Quinn compare to your prior experience?

No. This was my first boudoir shoot.

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

I have always been interested in boudoir photos, but I've always been too self-conscious to try. I was drawn to Quinn's photography and the amazing reviews from Queens who shared my feelings and hesitancies.

What was your favourite part of the session?

My favourite part of the session was how relaxed and not at all self-conscious I felt while shooting and walking around in my outfits!

What did doing this shoot do for your self-confidence, self-worth, and self-image? Tell me your story.

This shoot really boosted my self-confidence. Who knew what a great make-up and hair artist could do to make me look as beautiful as I've always dreamed of?! And even more: what an absolutely amazingly talented photographer could do to help me feel all the feels of my inner goddess!

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

I was expecting to be extremely shy and vulnerable during this experience. Instead, I was empowered and inspired during this entire session!

What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?

I think the best part of this whole experience was how uplifting Quinn and her entire team are -- from start to finish and all the fun times in between!
