Hey there gorgeous Queens!

Some shoots feel less like a photoshoot and more like a little victory lap, especially when someone walks in carrying stories of big changes, brave decisions, or seasons that pushed them to grow! The stunning Queen C had a quiet confidence underneath it all, even with the usual nerves. From the start, it was clear that she didn’t just book a session for the sake of having some lovely images of herself, but that she chose to take a leap of faith and show up for herself. What I always notice in experiences like this is how quickly the energy loosens up. The nerves turn into laughter, the “what do I do with my hands?” moments turn into genuine fun, and suddenly they’re leaning into sides of themselves they maybe don’t get to express every day, bold, playful, a little untamed! And honestly, those are my favourite moments to capture, because nothing feels forced, it’s just someone fully owning who they are in that exact season of life!

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Quinn compare to your prior experience?

I have done a shoot once before, which was an outdoor shoot. This session with Quinn and her team was amazing. I felt so cared for, special, and super sexy! I had such a blast and felt so good. I always tell other women to try a boudoir shoot, because you feel so amazing and confident during and after it! A wonderful experience, I think every woman needs to experience. I know I am so grateful for mine!

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

I wanted to do this because in the last couple of years, I have overcome some difficult challenges. One of the most notable ones was deciding to become a commercial pilot and learning how to fly! I wanted to treat myself, and I am so glad I did... I feel so confident, and sexy, AND I have the pictures to prove it!

What was your favourite part of the session?

It really is hard to choose a favourite... Quinn was wonderful with how she spoke to me and made me feel really good. Also, her team made me feel so welcome and cared for. The whole thing was so fun!

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

Honestly, I did not really know what to expect, and I was blown away by the level of service I received! Angie, Quinn's assistant, was positively amazing! My makeup artist was amazing! Really, the whole experience was wonderful, and I felt fantastic! Highly recommended. Truly.

What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?

The only thing I would have changed was not taming my hair as much. My hair looked amazing in every shot! I love my wildness and how untamed my hair is. Some shots I feel like could have been even sexier if my hair was more crazy! That is just me, though, lol.
