Queen Brittany-"Boosting My Courage And Trusting The Process"

Hey there, beautiful Queens! I'm excited to share the lovely Queen B's story with you! Her session was about honouring exactly where she’s at—no “before,” no “after,” just now. There was a quiet strength in the room, the kind that comes from facing hard things and deciding to show up anyway. We leaned into softness, into strength, into that in-between space where growth lives. It wasn’t about changing who she is; it was about seeing her as she is now—and damn, was that beautiful!

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Quinn compare to your prior experience?

Never have I done a boudoir shoot before, but SUPER glad I did one with Quinn. Such a comforting experience and much-needed confident boost!

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

I was in need of a pick-me-up/confidence boost after a few long years, so I decided to embrace the body I currently have and get some good photos of it as a keepsake.

What was your favourite part of the session?

The confidence that taking the photos gave, combined with Quinn's skill and calm presence, made for a pleasant experience.

What did doing this shoot do for your self-confidence, self-worth, and self-image? Tell me your story.

Over the past few years, a great deal has happened. I was diagnosed with a Nervous system disorder, and my life was turned upside down. I went from a very in shape, active person who loved her job, to someone completely new; I had to relearn how to walk, how to manage new symptoms and cope with worsening PTSD symptoms. Things have improved, but I've had to give up my career and sports, and now rely on my support network more than ever. Now that I have finally hit a plateau, I desperately wanted a confidence boost for the new me moving forward.

Quinn was amazing, capturing the best angles, accentuating attributes, and just giving general compliments and boosting courage throughout the process. I am over the moon with how the photos turned out, and so happy I talked myself into doing something so wildly out of my comfort zone to get what I needed to move forward. <3

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

I was expecting to be a lot more nervous throughout the shoot, but Quinn was great with organizing the outfits, poses and my nerves the whole time.

What was the best part of your experience?

The end results!
