Hey there lovely Queens!
Something I see all the time in the studio is women showing up because they just need a moment to breathe. To step out of the chaos of everyday life and do something that feels entirely for themselves! And what’s so beautiful is how quickly that self-care turns into empowerment. Just like the gorgeous Queen A's session, it starts with just wanting a break, a chance to feel pretty again… and by the end, it’s this huge reminder of strength, confidence, and self-worth! Boudoir has a funny way of giving you back pieces of yourself you didn’t even realize you were missing.<3

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?
I got a call. Felt poopy and wanted to do something for just me, and feel pretty!
What was your favourite part of the session?
Honestly, talking with Quinn about whatever made me feel so relaxed, like old friends were catching up! While the photos are BOMB AND FIREEEE, my favourite part was getting to embrace being a woman and not just a mom for a day!
What did doing this shoot do for your self-confidence, self-worth, and self-image? Tell me your story.
I did this shoot because I needed the opportunity to do something for myself. All I do is work, take care of the kiddos and spend time with the husband. I hardly have any time to just do "me" things. I have wanted to do one for years, but I never reached out. I'm truly grateful I did.
I would have never done it without that locked-in date, as it's hard for me most days to just shower. I did it cuz I was emotionally, mentally and physically drained. I wanted to see what I look like when I'm not just a mom or a wife. I wanted to feel like Amanda, like me!
Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?
It was nothing like I expected! Quinn is such a warm soul; she's kind and super easy to be around. The nerves quickly melted away, and it was quite fun doing the poses and laughing. Also, being reassured at the same time was a great feeling. I wasn't expecting such a confidence boost! I thought it would have been very cut and dry, but it truly felt like just hanging with the girls!
What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?
The talking! It's rare that things are ever about me, and it was fantastic to just have a conversation with someone and not feel judged, rushed, or like just another stranger getting her pictures taken!
