Abigail Doore Saunders, from Calgary and Siksika Nation, is a lively Grade 3 student with a passion for dance, soccer, and weekend swims. Whether performing on stage or walking the runway at fashion shows, she shines in the spotlight and loves making new friends wherever she goes.
She adores her Doberman, Ripley, who joined her family last year, and is excited to continue her pageant journey through fundraising, fashion shows, and confidence training days. 📍 March 21 – Telus Spark Indigenous Youth Gathering – Abigail will be attending this special event celebrating Indigenous youth, culture, and leadership.
📍 March 21-23 – Healy Reunion – A special gathering at Deerfoot Inn & Casino celebrating elders and family connections.
📍 March 29 – SAIT Powwow – Abigail will be attending this vibrant cultural event showcasing Indigenous traditions, dance, and community.
📍 April 12 – Indigenous Youth Program – Hosted by the Calgary Stampede Foundation, this event at Sweetgrass Lodge provides a fun, free day for Indigenous youth to connect and learn.

Project POSE
Before Abigail could even stand, she was already striking poses. From babyhood, it was clear she was a natural in front of the camera, lighting up every photo with confidence and personality. Now, as Little Miss Galaxy Canada 2025, she’s sharing that passion with others. She is excited to announce: Project POSE—a fun, confidence-building program for kids.
With online events and a special in-person workshop this summer, Project POSE helps kids develop self-expression, stage presence, and poise in a supportive space.

This August, Abigail will take the stage at Galaxy Internationals in Florida (August 12-18, 2025), representing Canada with pride. Competing at this level involves travel, wardrobe, coaching, and other expenses that go into preparing for an international competition.
